Piracy is a major problem in the music industry. The industry has been urged to embrace the internet if it wants to regain its hold in the fight against piracy. It is common for us all to use the internet on a daily basis, whether it’s for work or to play poker online. However just because we are so used to using it, it doesn’t mean people should feel comfortable with piracy online. A retail deal was agreed upon at the annual meeting of the industry head in south of France. The deal has been agreed upon with Nokia, Amazon and Myspace.
